Qatar-based logistics technology startup ShipBee has secured USD 500,000 in a seed funding round led by GrowthX Capital. The investment will support the company’s efforts to scale its digital logistics platform and expand its operations across the region.

The funding will be used to strengthen ShipBee’s technology infrastructure, expand its team, and integrate artificial intelligence tools aimed at improving platform performance and delivery efficiency. As logistics operations increasingly shift toward digital platforms, the company aims to position itself as a technology layer connecting businesses, consumers, and logistics providers.

Building a digital logistics ecosystem

ShipBee was founded in March 2024 by Tamer Raafat and Amer Azani. The company operates as a logistics technology platform designed to simplify shipping and delivery for businesses and individual users.

Registered in Qatar Free Zones, the startup offers an AI-powered digital logistics ecosystem that allows shipments to be booked, managed, and tracked through a unified platform. The system connects users with multiple logistics providers, enabling them to compare shipping options and manage deliveries digitally.

By digitizing logistics processes, ShipBee aims to address inefficiencies often found in traditional shipping networks and improve coordination between different logistics stakeholders.

Platform features and SaaS solutions

ShipBee’s platform integrates several logistics services into a single ecosystem. The company provides dedicated mobile applications for both customers and drivers, allowing shipments to be scheduled, tracked, and managed through digital interfaces.

In addition to its marketplace, ShipBee offers Software-as-a-Service tools for businesses that handle logistics operations. These tools are designed to help companies coordinate shipments, monitor delivery flows, and improve operational efficiency across their supply chains.

Through these solutions, the platform aims to provide businesses with greater visibility and control over their logistics processes.

Strategic partnerships across the logistics sector

ShipBee has established partnerships with several regional and international logistics and technology organizations. These include Qatar Post, global logistics company DHL, and Chinese AI logistics firm NEXX. The startup also collaborates with a network of local service providers and retail partners within the logistics ecosystem.

These partnerships allow the platform to expand its logistics network while integrating advanced technology solutions into its operations.

Future growth and AI integration

With the newly secured funding, ShipBee plans to accelerate its next stage of development. The company aims to further enhance its technology infrastructure and expand its team to support future growth.

ShipBee is also exploring deeper integration of artificial intelligence within its platform. AI tools could be used to automate operational processes, optimize delivery routes, and improve overall logistics efficiency.

As digital solutions continue reshaping the logistics industry globally, platforms like ShipBee are emerging as key connectors between fragmented shipping networks. By combining marketplace logistics services with technology-driven tools, the startup aims to contribute to the modernization of logistics operations in Qatar and across the wider GCC and MENA regions.
