Doha, Qatar  – The Qatar Innovation Hackathon concluded its high-impact, four-day sprint with a spotlight on promising tech startups addressing real-world industry challenges. Among the standout winners was OYOS, recognized in the Enterprise Technology category and awarded the QAR 25,000 Pre-Investment Prize, with support from Qatar Development Bank (QDB) and Ooredoo Qatar.

A Smart Take on Enterprise Communication

OYOS impressed judges and partners with its innovative approach to organizational alignment and workplace communication. The platform combines behavioral AI coaching for employees with a real-time insights dashboard for leadership, targeting a long-standing gap in how companies understand and manage morale, engagement, and alignment at scale.

“The hackathon gave us a platform to showcase our product and vision,” said Dr. Teresa, Co-Founder and CPO at OYOS team. The unanimous support for the idea and its relevance to organizations like Ooredoo Qatar has bolstered our ambitions.”

Solving a Widespread Challenge

Miscommunication and misalignment are often cited as silent disruptors in organizations. OYOS directly addresses this through two key offerings:

  • AI Coach: A virtual coach for every employee to navigate everyday workplace challenges.
  • Organizational Dashboard: Live data insights on morale, culture, and team alignment for leadership teams.

While executive coaching remains exclusive and limited, OYOS democratizes support, making development accessible to all employees, regardless of role or level.

Built for the Local Market – And Beyond

The team behind OYOS is committed to making their solution resonate within the Qatari context. The next development phase includes integrating Arabic language and cultural nuances into their behavioral AI, alongside launching a mobile app version of the coach.

The startup is already seeing traction:

  • Two local companies with over 100 employees have registered interest in pilot deployments by Q4 2025.
  • Partnerships are in progress with coaching agencies, leadership schools, and startups within Qatar Science & Technology Park (QSTP).

A Strong Start on the Road Ahead

With direct entry into QDB’s Pre-Accelerator Program, OYOS will receive business development support and mentorship to sharpen its go-to-market strategy. The team is now focused on scaling their solution within Qatar, while eyeing future opportunities to expand regionally.

As Qatar continues to support digital transformation and homegrown innovation, startups like OYOS show how AI can be leveraged to create meaningful impact inside the workplace.
