Idea Camp Tenth Edition and Incubation of Numerous Startups

Doha, Qatar – The Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, through its Digital Incubation Center (DIC) program, has announced significant milestones achieved in the fourth quarter of 2024. These achievements underscore the DIC’s pivotal role in promoting entrepreneurship and innovation in Qatar, empowering startups, and strengthening the digital business ecosystem.

Graduation of Startups from Idea Camp

A major highlight of the quarter was the successful graduation of 13 startups from the sixth edition of the Idea Camp. Initially, 25 startups entered the incubation program in February 2022, and after rigorous training and meeting program criteria, 13 have successfully completed their journey.

Among the standout companies are:

• Akrem – A secure mobile app allowing users to scan QR codes at service outlets to express appreciation to workers and service providers.
• AutismoLab LLC – An XR-based solution that helps software professionals with autism train individuals on the spectrum to enhance social and communication skills.
• BaitTech – A platform connecting real estate seekers with local and foreign real estate options, offering innovative and user-friendly solutions.
• Bawales – Qatar’s first digital insurance aggregator, simplifying insurance processes for cars, health, and businesses with transparency and customized solutions.
• Ellogy.ai – An AI-powered platform streamlining software requirement documentation and design artifacts for efficient business application development.
• iCare – An AI-driven platform that enhances communication among school administrations, teachers, parents, and bus drivers, offering real-time updates on reports, homework, and bus locations.
• Muamla – A digital platform linking individuals and SMEs with government and non-government services to support business growth.
• My Pet World – An integrated platform catering to pet care needs, including purchasing essential products and connecting with pet breeders.
• Naseh – A legal consultation platform that connects users with certified lawyers for reliable legal advice.
• QSales – An e-commerce platform ensuring the delivery of household necessities within 24 hours.
• SPOR – An app facilitating easy booking and communication with gyms, sports centers, fields, and trainers in Qatar.
• SwitchIn – A digital solution for property rental and management, incorporating smart home technology with an IoT hub and control app.
• WeTreat – A health-tech platform delivering advanced technological solutions to enhance the efficiency and accessibility of healthcare services.

Global and Regional Showcases

In a bid to highlight Qatar’s innovation in artificial intelligence, nine DIC-backed startups participated in the Global AI Summit 2024, presenting advanced AI-driven solutions aimed at nurturing technological and economic progress.

Moreover, four startups showcased their pioneering healthcare technologies at the International Healthcare Exhibition and Conference 2024. These innovations underscored Qatar’s growing stature as a global hub for healthcare technology, offering advanced solutions that improve service efficiency and patient care.
