Scale7's Incubation Program Is Open for Applications

Doha , Qatar - Qatar's premier fashion and design business incubator, Scale7, is inviting applications for its latest incubation program. Established by Qatar Development Bank (QDB) in partnership with M7, Scale7 aims to nurture and develop the country's creative industry by supporting early-stage startups in sectors such as fashion, fashion technology, arts and culture, product design, and creative technology.

Program Overview

The incubation program is a 12-week initiative designed to transform innovative ideas into viable startups and brands. Participants will benefit from a range of resources and support, including:

• Access to Scale7's Exclusive Co-Working Space: Collaborate and innovate in an environment equipped with facilities such as a digital fabrication lab, photography studio, fashion studio, and jewelry studio.
• Business Licensing Support in Qatar: Receive guidance on navigating the legal and administrative processes essential for establishing a business in Qatar.
• Tailored Workshops and Industry-Specific Mentorship: Engage in workshops and receive mentorship from industry experts to enhance your business acumen and technical skills.
• Presentation Skills Development: Build confidence in pitching your startup to potential investors and stakeholders.
• Opportunities for Financing and Grants: Explore avenues for securing investment and business development grants to fuel your startup's growth.

Program Themes

The incubation program focuses on five dynamic sectors:

• Fashion and FashionTech: Innovate in design, sustainable fashion, and technology-driven fashion solutions.
• Arts and Culture: Enrich the cultural landscape through creative arts and heritage-inspired projects.
• Product Design: Bring innovative, functional, and aesthetic product ideas to life.
• Creative Technology: Leverage technology to revolutionize creative industries.

Eligibility Criteria

The program is seeking early-stage creative and cultural startups that meet the following criteria:

• Industry Focus: Startups operating in the Creative & Cultural Industries (CCI).
• Stage of Development: Must be early-stage with at least a working prototype.
• Scalability: Should have a scalable business model with growth potential.
• Location: Currently operational in Doha or willing to establish operations in Doha.
• Commitment: Teams must commit to the 3-month incubation period, with at least one full-time team member participating in the program.
