
All Star Pitch Battle Highlights Qatar’s Startup Momentum

Doha, Qatar - On 15 September 2025, Startup Grind Doha hosted the All Star Pitch Battle at the Qatar Chamber premises in Lusail. The event drew over 150 participants from across Qatar’s entrepreneurial ecosystem and spotlighted the country’s growing track record in innovation and startup development.
A total of 51 startups submitted applications to compete. From these, 21 were chosen to deliver live pitches during the event. This local Pitch Battle forms part of the broader Startup Grind All Star Pitch Battle program, running across more than 150 chapters globally.
The format involved concise, focused presentations aimed at demonstrating high-potential ideas, with participants evaluated by a distinguished panel of investors, ecosystem enablers, and public sector representatives.
Following intense competition, the winners were announced as follows:
Be My Sense distinguished itself with an AI-powered platform that enables real-time sign language translation, aimed at enhancing accessibility for the hearing-impaired across education, entertainment, and everyday communication.
The event was organized in collaboration with the Youth Entrepreneurship Club (YEC) and Qatar Chamber, which hosted the evening at their Lusail venue. Builders VC | MENA served as the official sponsor for the Doha edition.
A panel of judges assessed the pitches, bringing insight from venture capital, innovation platforms, government, and ecosystem support organizations. The panel included representatives from Builders VC, A_Typical Ventures, QSTP, the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, EBAN GCC, KAIC, and Alchemist Doha.
The Pitch Battle provided rising startups with visibility, feedback, networking access, and a pathway to regional competition. It reinforces Qatar’s ambition to nurture a vibrant innovation ecosystem and position local founders on regional and global stages.
With Be My Sense advancing to the regional semi-finals, Qatar now has representation in the next phase of the Startup Grind global competition underscoring momentum for local technology and social-impact innovation.
