Doha, Qatar – Under the patronage of the Ministry of Education and Higher Education, INJAZ Qatar hosted the 18th edition of the Annual Young Enterprise of the Year Competition (Mubadara), highlighting innovation and entrepreneurship among Qatar’s youth. The awards ceremony, held at the Qatar National Convention Center, celebrated the achievements of high school and university students who participated in a rigorous six-month entrepreneurship program.

Injaz: A Platform for Innovation and Impact

This year’s Mubadara program engaged 23 student teams — 12 from universities and 11 from high schools. These teams developed and launched their own business ventures with guidance from professional mentors across various industries. The initiative is part of INJAZ Qatar’s Company Program. It provides hands-on experience in developing business ideas. In addition, students build prototypes, design marketing strategies, and pitch to potential investors.

The 2025 edition of the competition not only celebrated commercial potential. It also recognized startups with significant social and educational impact. Moreover, the program aligns closely with Qatar’s broader strategic goals for education, economic diversification, and youth empowerment.

Boeing, the strategic partner since 2013, awarded a financial grant to Tamayaz to support the development and growth of their online education platform.

These collaborations reflect the ongoing commitment of both organizations to empowering the next generation of business leaders and supporting Qatar’s knowledge-based economy.

The Mubadara program equips students not only with entrepreneurial skills but also with confidence, resilience, and a problem-solving mindset.
