All Star Pitch Battle Showcases Qatar’s Startup Talent at Startup Grind Doha

On September 15, 2025, the Startup Grind Doha Chapter held the “All-Star Pitch Battle” at the Qatar Chamber in Lusail. The event drew more than 150 participants from across the startup ecosystem. It showcased entrepreneurship and innovation, reinforcing Qatar’s ambition to build a globally competitive startup landscape. 

Application and Selection Process

A total of 51 startups from Qatar submitted applications. From these, 21 were chosen to present their pitches during the event. The Pitch Battle is part of Startup Grind’s global program, which spans over 150 chapters worldwide. 

Competition Outcomes

• First place: Be My Sense — awarded US$1,500 plus a trophy; secured the slot to represent Qatar in the regional semi-finals.
• Second place: PitchPro.me
• Third place: paintit.ai
• Most Creative Pitch Award: Meta Souq

The evaluation was conducted by a panel of prominent figures in Venture Capital, government, and startup ecosystem organizations. The judges included:

It also aligns with national strategic goals for innovation and puts a spotlight on Qatar’s growing capabilities in entrepreneurship.
